My Reiki journey began over a decade ago, when I sought to learn about the practice to help animals at a rescue center where my husband and I volunteered. Little did I know how this simple decision would profoundly change my life.

 

I connected immediately and deeply with the healing energy and began a quest to learn all I could. I have been fortunate to study with several world-renowned Master Teachers, including a life-changing course with William Lee Rand, the founder and president of The International Center for Reiki Training (ICRT), at the birthplace of Reiki, Mount Kurama, Japan.

 

Reiki burst open the doors to my intuitive abilities and provided clarity on my divine purpose and passion. Now, it is my joy to share this gift and create ripples through healing sessions and Reiki education as the owner of Healing Gardens Reiki in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Classes and treatments are held in my backyard garden retreat or adjacent sunroom. Online instruction is also available.

 

I have been published by Reiki News Magazine, and I’m the author of a forthcoming book series, "Magic at Moon Lake". The first story, "Reiki to the Rescue!", introduces children to the concepts of Reiki.

 

This ancient healing energy technique promotes relaxation and reduces stress and anxiety. It has been my privilege to help others and spread awareness of Reiki’s many benefits. I look forward to answering any questions you may have.
